Purpose

WHAT WE BELIEVE .........

We believe God has made us and put us here to help depressed, discouraged, confused, and lost people find love, acceptance, guidance, encouragement, and most of all, salvation in Christ.

We believe that God uses His people at Oak Ridge, as well as His people in all parts of the world to lead others to Christ. Seeking and saving the lost is the primary reason for the existence of the Oak Ridge congregation.

Our only creed at the Oak Ridge Church of Christ -- our sole source of authority for all that we do is God's Word, the Holy Bible -- to which we are totally committed.

The members of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ are deeply committed to Scriptural Correctness -- whether taught from the pulpit, in the classrooms, or in any other teaching situation.

The members of the Oak Ridge Church of Christ are a loving family. We are not perfect; we are forgiven. We are unified and committed in our efforts to help one another on our journey to heaven and to share the Good News with a world that desperately needs to hear it.
