Objectives In India

 1.  To continue to operate under the Great Commission. Matthew 28:20, according to the New Testament pattern, without trying to find short cuts to conversion or trying to attract people with anything other than the gospel of Christ. To have no part in the lowering of God’s standards or the offering of material rewards for the sake of numbers.

 2.  To help develop existing congregations and to conserve our gains…to keep the saved, saved.

 3.  To conduct Bible Schools in villages where members can attend and be edified in the fundamentals.

 4.  To conduct schools for preachers to help train and develop Indian evangelists, the only real answer to evangelizing India.

 5.  To teach brethren their responsibility to give and support their own men and work.

 6.  To teach the Indian Christians to teach their relatives and friends the gospel and to contend for the faith.

 7.  To Increase the printing, and distribution of Bibles, tracts, and correspondence courses in the various languages.

 8.  To place more teaching ads in the newspapers.

 9.  To preach the gospel in villages and cities, to rich and poor; to educated and illiterate; whenever and wherever possible. To try and reach new areas and states where the gospel of Jesus Christ has not been preached.

 10. To work toward the time when the churches of Christ in India will be completely self supporting and having no need for outside finances or assistance.
