Foreword: The War against God and Christianity Continues

America's civil war today is a cultural war between Christianity and Atheism. The forces of Atheism continue their efforts to remove God from our historical Christian culture. However, we must not ignore the war of terrorism from Muslim extremists from without. Islam too, is on the march, in their efforts to establish Sharia law as the law of the land and raise their flag over our White House. President Jefferson also faced terrorists from Islam. They sank our ships and enslaved our sailors. The line in the Marine corps hymn, "from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli" is not without historical basis.

This is not the first time God fearing Americans have faced a war on two fronts. In World War II we faced the Nazis (The National Socialist party) in Europe, and the Japanese imperial forces in the Pacific, but with God's help, we overcame. It was said, in "the great generation," that there are no atheists in a foxhole. Today, their children's children are, too often, turning their back on the America that was, and the God of our founders.

If the moderate Muslims are truly against the radical sects of Islam terrorists, they need to stand up and be counted. The burning of the American flag and chants of "Death to America" and "Death to the Infidel" (unbeliever in Mohammed) are not idle threats. Our cherished and Constitutional right to freedom of speech is being destroyed by Political Correctness. The truth is that the media and the politically powerful are actually physically afraid to take the battle to Islam and their prophet Mohammad; with the same zeal they attack God, His Son, and the Bible. Try for example, to publish a cartoon (of any kind) of Mohammad. Author a picture of Mohammad, their prophet in a vat or urine, with the same abandon you did with Jesus on the cross or His mother in a pile of dung.

The "separation of church and state," to the surprise of many, is not found in the Constitution, or in any of its amendments, for that matter. The Constitution, in the minds and hearts of the founder, covers the relationship between the Christian religion and our federal or national government. Keep in mind, America was considered by the founders a "Christian nation." The first amendment states, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech,..." They did not have in mind, "freedom from religion."

Our enemies, on both fronts, are determined to destroy our freedom of speech and our religious freedom to worship the God of the Bible according to the dictates of our individual consciences. Political correctness is destroying our freedom of speech. Destroy freedom of speech and you control freedom of thought. Remove God and religion from the public square and you eventually remove our Creator from every aspect of life. This is demonstrated by their efforts to remove God from our everyday conversation and ultimately our thoughts. They have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind (Hosea 8:7) as illustrated by the present state of politics, the home, and morality in general. Orwell's "nineteen Eighty-four" is arriving! However, it is arriving some thirty years late.
