Dec. 3-7 at Smyrna Baptist meeting house 8 miles S.W. of Covington, Tenn.

Five propositions: 1) Operation of H.S.; 2) estab. of the church; 3) restricted communion; 4) baptism for remission of sins; 5) remission of sins before baptism. The truth was victorious. This was bro. Parish's second debate, but he did his work well. Bro. J. W. Dunn moderated for Parish. The crowd and interest grew from the beginning to the close. Everything passed off nicely and I'm sure the debate did good.
