Debated Feb. 20-23 in Sikeston, Mo.
The crowds were so large that we were unable to seat them. People thought a debate would be conducted in an ugly way, but these men proved them to be wrong. Everyone who heard the debate said it was one of the cleanest they had ever heard. Bro. Woods was master of the situation from beginning to the end. He met every argument that Chastain made and met them with such force that the Baptists felt them. If you have error being taught in the church or out of the church, you will not go wrong in calling bro. Woods to defend the truth. Six have been baptized since the debate, one was a Baptist. A Methodist lady from Caruthersville, Mo. who heard the debate was baptized. Our attendance has been up since the debate.
