Debate at Flippin, Monroe County, Kentucky July 8-11 - Baptism - Apostasy - each affirmed and defended.
Bro. Creacy easily established his propositions and effectively refuted the Baptist claims. Creacy is a fine speaker, strong and clear in his arguments, and treats his opponent with courtesy and consideration.
Elder Gregory is a splendid gentleman and conducts himself as such in a debate. He fights hard to sustain his proposition, but is not offensive in manner. Only once or twice was there a slight demonstration in the audience. The debate drew good crowds.
R. T. Smith, veteran preacher, 85 years old, moderated for Creacy. C. B. Massey moderated for Gregory.
