The Freed-Pigue debate will commence at Bogota, Tennessee, December 16-22.
There are six specific propositions to be discussed. Among them the following: "The Bible teaches that immersion in water, to a penitent believer, is baptism." R. H. Pigue denies. "Let Methodists who have said Pigue never denied this proposition take notice and be present."
