D. L. Robinson vs W. C. Wallis (Primitive Baptist)
May 24, 1934
Ripley, Mississippi

(By D. P. Craig)

May 12-15 in court house at Ripley, Miss.

Bro. Robinson did some fine work, and made an excellent impression upon the people by reason of his able and courteous defense of the truth. His arguments were plain and convincing. Mfr. Wallis has good qualities as a debater, and tried as hard as any man I ever saw to prove his doctrine and discredit the truth. Quite a number of his brethren went away dissatisfied with his efforts. The debate was attended by people from other towns. The building was overflowing each night. Good order and high interest prevailed.
