INDEPENDENT CHURCH OF CHRIST
IGLESIA DE CRISTO INDEPENDIENTE

Who Has Ears To Hear Let Him Hear

It is a fact that this world is going from bad to worse in spite of the existence of so many churches. The multiplicity of churches in the world have been a real failure in taking the message of repentance and salvation to worldly and sinful men. There is a reason for this. Read below.

Believe it or not, the Bible is true because it IS the Word of God (2 Tim. 3:15-17).  Its promises will be fulfilled! It matters not what others think or say to try to justify a life of sin and rebellion against God becoming fools by insisting that (1) there is no God (Psalms 14:1), (2) there is no life after death (Luke 16:19-31), (3) there is no day of judgment (Matthew 25:30-46), (4) hell does not exist (Luke 13:28), (5) God is "ALL love" (yes, God is love, but He also has another side. ~I John 4:8~; 2 Thess. 1:7-9), and so many other conjectures and human deceit. The Bible remains true (John 17:17)!

Let me ask you a question. Do you fear God or were you born to be condemned? Only you and God know the answer. It is still not too late for you to be saved because you are yet alive. After you die, your destiny is sealed (Heb. 9:27).

I have other questions to ask you. What do you think of Christ? Do you think enough of Him to leave your life of sin and allow Him to become your Savior? Christ came to seek and save the lost (~Luke 19:10~). You are lost and on the way to hell if you are not "in Christ" (~Gal. 3:27~). Christ died for you to rescue you from the fire that awaits you if you do not repent and change your life (~Jude 1:22-23~).

If you say you are going "to church", I ask you which one? Do you believe that one church is as good as another and that all are churches of Christ? Many believe this, but it's not true! The Bible does NOT teach such a thing! To be saved from our sins and obtain eternal life, WE HAVE TO BE MEMBERS of God's family, the New Testament Church, the Divine Church, the Church the Son of God built and purchased with His own blood (~Matthew 16:18~; ~Acts 20:28~; ~Romans 16:16~). The Bible teaches that the saved are found ONLY in HIS Church (~Ephesians 5:23~). If you are a member of another religious institution founded by fallible and sinful men who teach for doctrines the commandments of men, you are NOT saved as you believe or have been taught. Please, believe the Bible and not false teachers (~Psalms 127:1~; ~I Tim. 3:15~; ~Matthew 15:7-9~; ~2 Cor. 11:13-15~; ~I John 2:3-5~; ~I John 4:1~; ~2 Peter 2:1-3~).

NOTE: Please understand that IT IS NOT OUR PURPOSE TO ATTACK ANYONE or to be disrespectful, offensive or insulting, but simply to inform you about the truths the Bible teaches.

Which of the hearts mentioned in the Parable of the Sower in ~Luke 8:4-15~ and ~Matthew 13:1-23~ do you have when you hear the Word of God? You need to obey the counsel of Jesus Christ in ~Luke 13:23¬24~ so you will not regret throughout all eternity not having obeyed God and His calling on time. Repent of your sins and come serve God so you can have hope, peace, and happiness!

Come, visit us, and compare what we teach with the Bible. You will notice that we "speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where the Bible is silent" (~I Peter 4:11~). We work to restore New Testament Christianity. We follow Christ and Him ONLY. We are not here to please men or to entertain (~Gal. 1:10~)! We love and respect God and His Word. That is why we invite you to join us to worship the Lord "in spirit and in truth" (~John 4:23-24~). We are located at 737 SW 24th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73109. Worship services are in English and Spanish on Sundays at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM and on Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Our telephone is (405) 606-4333. Come as you are. We encourage you to come to the Lord before it is too late (~Matthew 24:37-39~). You will be welcome and treated with respect.

Respectfully, Felix I. Garcia, Minister, INDEPENDENT CHURCH OF CHRIST

"And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" "That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."
"There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:" "And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores," And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;" "And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom." "And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." "But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented." "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." "Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:" "For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment." "Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them." "And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent." "And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:" "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:" "And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left." "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:" "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:" "Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me." "Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?" "When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?" "Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?" "And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" "For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:" "I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not." "Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?" "Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
"There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out."
"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels," "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" "Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;"
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
