YOU CAN BE A CHRISTIAN

     You Can Be A Christian!

The gospel of Christ is the "good news" that you can be a Christian.  As a Christian you are free from sin (Romans 6:17-18), at peace with God (Romans 5:1-2), and confident of heaven (1 John 2:25).

The grace of God is the means of this good news (Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).  By his grace God has favored us, even though we did not deserve his favor, with the free gift of his Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins.

By his grace, God, in his word, teaches us the way to become a Christian.  One must believe the gospel of Christ (John 8:24; Mark 16:15-16).  One must repent of (turn from) sin (Acts 2:37-38).  One must confess (acknowledge) the truth about Jesus (Matthew 10:32; Acts 8:37; Romans 10:9-10).  One must be baptized (immersed, buried) in water into Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sins (Romans 6:3-4; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:35-36; Galatians 3:26-27).

Christ will add you to his church (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:47).  There is no need to ever join any man's church or wear any name other than Christ's (Acts 4:12; 1 Peter 4:16; Romans 16:16).  Then, as a Christian and a member of Christ's church, one must continue faithful to Christ's word and worship (John 8:31; Acts 2:42; John 4:23-24; 1 John 1:7; 2 John 9-11; Revelation 2:10).

     Will you be a Christian?!
