The LORD Knows

The LORD Knows

He's the LORD. (of course, He knows!)

"And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account." (Heb 4:13 ESV)

WHAT does the LORD know?

Our Hearts (Psa139.2 / Lk16.15)

Who we really Are -- convictions, intentions, and effort (2Cor5.11f / 11.11)

Our experience -- the truth about what really happened (2Cor12.2,3)

Our distress (Psa31.7) So, rejoice in His covenant love!

How to Preserve

He watches over to Prosper the righteous Psa1.3&6

Protects and extends life of the upright Psa37.18

How to Train

Psa94.10-12 If He teaches nations, how much more little me?

Beware, O Stubborn! There lies a hard road ahead.

Above quoted from LXX in 1Cor3.20 Man's greatest wisdom is but folly to Him.

Who are HIS

As a shepherd knows his sheep (Jn10.14)

And they know and follow to him (v27)

Contrast: "I don't know you." (Num16.5 / Lk13.27)

The Seal on His solid foundation: 2Tim2.19

How to Rescue: 2Peter2

False Teachers are known -- and condemned (vs1-3)

As angels, Noah's generation, Sodom & Gomorrah are examples (vs4-6)

He Rescued righteous Lot: vs7&8 > So, He distinguishes the worshipful.

"I trust in the LORD. I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place. Be gracious to me, O LORD." (Psa 31:6-9 ESV)

Commit your heart to the LORD God. Trust in Him.
