In recent years, the homosexual organizations have been very vocally pushing to have their perversions legitimatized. There many searches for a "gay gene," which will prove that some were born with that propensity. All the searches thus far have been fruitless, and we confidently predict they will remain that way. Marriage between a man and woman has been the norm for nearly all of recorded history. Homosexuality has been practiced for many centuries, but always by a small minority, and is nearly always looked upon as a deviation or perversion from the normal or natural sexual satisfaction. One of the primary purposes of marriage is to propagate humanity. Two people of the same sex cannot accomplish this! Since there is at present a strong movement to grant permission for two men or two women to marry each other, it behooves us to examine the case for same sex marriage.
The Bible condemns the very practice of homosexuality. Notice: "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). In the Law of Moses, homosexuality was clearly condemned, and the penalty of death attached to the practice (Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13). Genesis 19:4-9 clearly shows God's condemnation, and after He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this sin, the name Sodomy came to refer to it. Most of the states of the U.S. had laws against this practice, however, they have pretty much been struck down by the courts if it is between consenting adults. However, the New Testament is very clear showing the condemnation of this lifestyle. In addition, surveys show that men living the "gay" lifestyle forfeit at least ten years and perhaps as much as thirty years of their life!
We have this sin described in detail in Romans 1:26-27 It is described as against "nature," "vile" and "unseemly." However, in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 we have the clearest description and condemnation. Note: "Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men...shall inherit the kingdom of God." Two terms here are pertinent. "Effeminate" comes from a word which means a "catamite" which is a boy or youth used sexually by a man. The phrase "abusers of themselves with men" means a sodomite, or homosexual. Obviously God does not approve of this practice!
The fact is that most great nations do not perish from outside influences, but rather from the apathy, indifference and defilement from within its own citizenry. We are seeing today the moral decay of America in leaving the principles of God and the Bible. That nearly all of our "founding fathers" respected the Bible and the religion it teaches is indisputable. Today many in our congress and leadership, and certainly the mainstream media, ridicule Christianity. Even patriotism is being mocked. Within these same leaders, cronyism, nepotism, lying, bribery and lawlessness is rampant! Is it any wonder that many of our own citizens live immoral lives? Many are divorcing, families are disrupted, folks are living together, homosexuality, pedophilia and every sort of sexual sin is promoted today. America is being defiled before our very eyes! God warned, "Righteousness exalteth a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34). Wake up, America, before it is too late!

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."
