To be perfectly blunt, homosexual marriage is stupidity gone to seed! If and when two homosexuals desire to live together in their ungodly union, they can simply go to a lawyer (rather than a preacher) and form whatever kind a legal partnership their unrighteous hearts desire.
But, Oh no, we miss the whole point. Pushing homosexual unions against the will of the majority of Americans is the name of the game! It is simply another battle in the cultural war against traditional American values, western civilization, and Christianity. The attitude of the homosexual community is "We are out of the closet and you must not only tolerate our homosexual activities but endorse them."
We note that the normal definition of marriage is "the formal union of a man and a woman, by which they become husband and wife." This historical concept of marriage is not only in harmony with God's revelation (the Bible) but in harmony with the practice of mankind throughout the ages. No amount of "social engineering" by the loony left will have any affect on the God of Heaven or on those that follow His Word.
In the history of human behavior, any examples of homosexual marriage would be held up today as a model of social evolution rather than the abhorrent aberration it is. The natural function of sexual activity is to reproduce the species. In the words of our Creator as He admonished His creatures, both great and small, "Be fruitful, and multiply" (Genesis 1:22, etc.).
Christ pointed out (Matthew 19:4-6), "Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female." Gospel preachers have pointed time and time again, that God made the first couple Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve.
When America was a God fearing nation with her roots deeply planted in the waters of the Bible, Homosexualism was an abomination to any right thinking man or woman. We conclude homosexualism is a perversion in nature and an abomination to the Creator. Homosexual marriage is simply another effort to destroy the home as God and nature intended it. When the family disintegrates, can the nation be far behind?
