Bible-Man Instructions

HOW TO STUDY THE NEW TESTAMENT USING THE BIBLE-MAN PROGRAM:

This is a fun & simple way to give children an overview of the New Testament.
Each lesson contains a few basic facts or pieces of information from one book of the NT.
You can use this information for a great home-devotional that can last throughout the week.

Start by looking at the basic lesson and reading over the information.

Then read together the text of that book of the Bible (the shorter books could be read more than once during the week).

  - Point out items from the lesson as they come up in the reading.
  - Pay special attention to the verses specifically mentioned in the lesson (if any).
  - Work on the memory verses together.
Follow the 'memory verse' link to play a game that will help you learn the verse.
  - Play the Bible Quiz games related to this book (also a link),
and quiz your child throughout the week on facts from the book.
  - Some books have 'Extras' that are linked at the bottom of the page.
These are extra studies or ways to dig deeper into the text.
This is meant to add more to the study for older children.
Follow the links for these items.

Finally, when you are back at the church building, have your child come see Shawn.
He will ask them a few questions from the book or have them say the verse and if they know the book,
they get a Bible-Man Card to keep for that book of the Bible.
Keep studying with them to collect the whole set and increase their knowledge of the New Testament!  (NOTE: Please go through the books in order).
