Matthews affirmed: "Jesus shall return to the earth and reign for 1000 years; the scriptures teach that the Anglo- Saxon races are descended in large part from the ten tribes of Israel, and are God's modern covenant people." Bro. Wallace handled all this quite well. Matthews has been completely defeated. All the congregations of the city have dismissed their services and given full support. C.R. Nichol has been our moderator.
