This was one of the best debates that I have ever experienced. I have heard Mr. Batts in about 50 debates with our brethren - this was his weakest effort to defend his position. Subjects were: Water baptism fo the remission of sins; and Holy Spirit baptism for all believers today. The crowds were estimated at 600 - 700 each night. 35 preachers attended the debate. The truth did not suffer in the hands of bro. Woods.
