At Ray, Kansas four disciples invited bro. A.C. Crenshaw to come and preach the gospel to the people. He preached in the Methodist house for several evenings. For two evenings a Presbyterian preacher tried to answer bro. Crenshaw on baptism. But bro. Crenshaw so completely proved his points and showed the error of Presbyterians that at the close of the 2nd night the Presbyterian preacher arose and said, "I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and I desire baptism." Five more were baptized. This stopped opposition.
