A. D. Dies vs W. D. Killingsworth (Holiness)
November 9, 1916
Brilliant, Alabama

(By J. A. Hudson)

Held at Brilliant, Alabama, October 23-26.

Killingsworth affirmed that one is sved by faith at an altar of prayer, and that sanctification is a secoond definite work of grace. All who knows Bro. Dies know his ability. To those who don't know him, the task and accomplishment are worthy the commendation of the best. Mr. Killingsworth is a pleasant, congenial character and fought nobly, or with a zeal deserving of a better cause, to sustain his propositions. The debate closed with the best of feelings evidenced by both the disputants and all concerned, and I trust, to the eternal veneration and renown for truths of the Redeemer and his and the Father's great love. Bro. Frank Baker, Belmont, Mississippi moderated for Bro. Dies.
