On March 23-27, I met Elder S. A. Paine (Primitive Baptist) in debate at Osro, Texas. The subject was conditional and unconditional life. A. E. Finley moderated for me in a splendid way. He debated a Mr. Kuykendall one night on unconditional election. The brethren pleased with our work.
I am now in eight-day debate with Mr. J. T. Blackman (Missionary Baptist). Thus far the brethren are perfectly pleased with my humble defense of the truth as it is in Jesus Christ.
Professor D. F. Draper, of Sabinal Christian College, Sabinal, Texas and I will leave or California on May 13 for a preaching and debating tour. We will meet the Mormons at Lone Star and Fresno in debate.
