Bynum Black vs George H. Cramer (Come Outer)
November 27, 1913
Lyon County, Kentucky

(By J. L. Robertson)

This debate held in Lyon County, Kentucky, October 14-18.

Mr. Cramer represented "come-outer" religion. Bro. Black affirmed: "Water baptism as taught by the holy apostles is for (in order to) remission of past or alien sins, and was given as a commandment to both Jews and Gentiles, and the New Testament so teaches." Bro. Black then affirmed: "The worship as observed by the Church of Christ on the first day of the week, such as singing and praying and eating the Lord's Supper, is required by the New Testament." Bro. Black from Morganfield, Kentucky is a great defender of truth.

Cramer is an old debater, having over 50 debates, up to date on dodging but Black routed him from every false position. Tried to draw Black away from issue. Won victory for cause of Christ.
