E.M. Borden debated C.F. Parker (P.B.) This was a great success for the cause of Christ. Parker admitted the church of Christ had it's beginning on Pentecost; that baptism is for (in order to) the remission of sins; that baptism in water upon a simple confession of faith is according to the Bible. And he agreed that all the redeemed belonged the church of Christ. Bro. Borden cannot be met by a sectarian in debate. The debate did much good. Many are reading their Bibles.
