The Christadelphians challenged the church at Marrietton for several years when E. M. Borden came to hold a meeting. Dr. Martin, Christadelphian member, challenged us. Mr. Zilmer, one of their best educated men, represented them. Five propositions were discussed: Establishment of Kingdom, Nature of Man, Birth of the Spirit, Punishment of Wicked, and the Resurrection. The debate was very pleasant, attendance large, and for the truth a victory was on.
The debate was taken in shorthand by a Mr. Young, a book will be printed. The debate helped us locally. All are elated over victory.
