G. C. Brewer vs. D. N. Jackson at Fulton, Mississippi, May 9-12. Those who have heard Bro. Brewer know he is one of the best. It is said Bogard's mantle has fallen upon Mr. Jackson.
E. L. Alexander reported: The truth stood out clearer in this debate than any I have ever heard. It was the best (debate) I believe I ever heard. Baptism and apostasy were the subjects. D. N. Jackson is a rapid speaker and very skillful in throwing out a screen to confuse the people. But Bro. Brewer is skillful in making the truth stand out so that open and unbiased people can see through the screen. Any time you need a man to teach the truth, to expose Baptist doctrine, or any other false doctrine, you will make no mistake to call G. C. Brewer.
