A. O. Calley vs C. H. Cayce
January 28, 1909

I have just closed a debate near my old home nine miles east of Fulton, Kentucky with C. H. Cayce, a Primitive Baptist. Mr. Cayce had been bragged on by his brethren until we really looked for a hard battle, but he came with about the usual objection to the truth that other men had presented. He was easily defeated. He can make things look reasonable to people who do not read the Book, but with any man who knows what the Book says he has but little showing in debate. I am to meet him again on the same proposition, on March 30, at Chestnut Bluff, Tennessee.
