W. M. Allen, Bentonville, Texas, Second Adventist, debated J. W. Chism. As an Adventist, I found him well posted. A man of ability, 51 years old, cool, deliberate and forcible speaker. He had 65 debates for Adventist; two with me. He read himself out of Adventist Church. Wrote J. W. Chism and requested baptism. He came to Camden, Texas, Sunday, October 24, 1909 and I baptized him at 3 p.m. He will spend his life preaching the gospel of Christ.
