Four propositions: two on baptism, one on church question, one on apostasy. Crowds large and attentive, conduct good. Mr. Bogard is an able defender of Baptist doctrines and did his work well, but he was ably met by Bro. Creacy. Although Bogard's proposition on the Baptists was restricted to two points, he chose to discuss it in a general way. His arguments were well answered by Bro. Creacy who is a splendid debater. Both men were polite and crowd enjoyed debate.
