I have just closed a debate with Ralph Green. I wrote a proposition and kept it before my opponent during the debate, but he would not sign. I am challenging any Jehovah's Witness in the United States to sign it for a debate to be held anywhere in Arkansas.
The proposition is: "Resolved, that the books written by J. F. Rutherford and the publications of the publishing house known as the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, of Brooklyn, N.Y., are in harmony with the scriptures." In the book called Government, written by Rutherford, is this statement: "God has put his message in the mouth of these Witnesses. The time has come to exalt God's name in the earth." If they believe this statement, it would seem that they would be willing to affirm the above proposition.
