General church propositions: Wade argued that the tabernacles and temple were types of the church. Bro. Hines granted this but showed they were not Baptist churches. Wade set up the church in Galilee of Matt. 4:18-20. When pressed hard for the power, he moved it to the mount of transfiguration. On hereditary total depravity, Wade quoted Is. 1:5-10; Job 14:4; Ps. 51:5. Bro. Hines showed that these were God's children and turned them against Wade. Bro. Hines affirmed the last two days and made a fine impression for truth. T. D. Willis moderated for Hines.
