A two day's debate was held by bro. C. N. Hudson and B. F. Webb (Freewill Baptist) on Brush Creek.
On the first day Webb affirmed: That foot washing was a church ordinance and that it was in connection with the Lord's supper. Bro. Hudson affirmed: Baptism for the remission of sins and it was no trouble to prove the proposition. Since the debate Webb's moderator, John Campbell, has become a Christian. Mr. Webb in all his struggle failed to prove his proposition.
Bro. Hudson is able speaker in a discussion and has done much for the cause of Christ and for the uplifting of the church of Christ. May God bless him until he shall cross over the dark river of death.
