1st day - Killingsworth affirmed: The scriptures teach we are justified and saved from past sins at altar of prayer.
2nd day - Bro. Hunson affirmed: Baptism in order to remission of sins.
3rd day - Killingsworth affirmed: Sanctification is a second definite work of grace subsequent to regeneration.
4th day: Hudson affirmed: Church established on Pentecost.
Bro. Hudson laid splendid foundation - brought points to a focus and eliminated unnecessary words.. Mr. Killingsworth, like all sects, would jump the subject, but Hudson yanked him back. Bro. Hudson said, "Elder, if it is proven that the Greek 'EIS' is 'because of,' I will join the Holiness folks and preach it that way. On the other hand if I can prove 'in order to' will you be just as honest and teach it that way?" Mr. Killingsworth said, "Go on with your speech."
Bro. Hudson made Mk. 16:16 clear. "Elder, can you produce one sentence joined together with the conjunction 'and' making one retrospective and the other prospective - belief toward or unto remission, and baptism because of remission?" Mr. Killingsworth did not try to reply.
On the church establishment subject bro. Hudson proved from Isa. 66 and other prophecies that the church had to suffer according to Dan. 8 the "little horn" was to rise out of Greece, but it had to go through and develop in Rome. Mr. Killingsworth asked him where was the church during the dark ages, Bro. Hudson replied: God cared for her." Bro. Hudson proved the establishment of the church on Pentecost and that he was a member of it, from worship and works that were carried on in the church.
Bro. Gurgamis moderated for Hudson.
