T. L. Kidwell preached in gospel meeting in Macon Co. Tenn. No church there - 12 baptized. Methodists stirred from center to circumference and sent for Methodist preacher. Bro. Kidwell challenged preacher to show him wrong. Last sermon bro. Kidwell preached on The Religion Of The Heart. The Methodist preacher said he could accept that. A Baptist preacher said he would affirm, "Baptism was for remission of sins." Bro. Kidwell told him, "If you do, the Baptists will turn you out of their church."
