Borden Co. Debated church question - brethren well pleased with my defense of the truth and my exposition of the crookedness of Baptist doctrine.
Many denominationalist said Lockhart was defeated. Mr. Lockhart had engaged in many public discussions and is considered a strong man. Bro. A. McGary moderated for me; A. A. Hensler moderated for Lockhart. These two moderators had an informal debate for 5 nights and again the Baptists were defeated. Mr. Hensler is one of the strongest debaters the Baptists have in Texas, but he made a signal failure in his effort with bro. McGary.
