On Aug. 25 I started a gospel meeting at Ryrone, Okla.
On first day G. T. Wadley, Bap. preacher, was present and after services told me that I had said something he did not believe and would like to show me my error. I accepted his wishes and a debate was set. We agreed not to tell jokes, or use slang. All this was carried out to the letter. This is my idea of discussing to accomplish good. We only needed time keepers. Several times Mr. Wadley failed to use all his time. After the debate and meeting there were 25 additions, 24 by baptism. There were both Methodist and Baptist who were added to the church.
