At Mangrum, Ark. June 20-24 - subject was general church question.
Bro. Netherland told Jackson if he would read in the Bible one word about a Miss. Bap. Church he would quit the debate and go home. And if he could not read about ch. of Chr. in his proposition he would go home. It is strange that a man will claim a thing to be scriptural when it is not found in the scriptures. Jackson did not come out with Bap. doctrine till bro. Netherland brought it out and compared it with the Bible. He showed many, many contradictions of Bap. doctrine. Jackson said Christian was only mentioned 3 times in the Bible. Bro. Netherland said that was 3 times more than Baptist was mentioned. All brethren were well pleased.
