The disciples consider this the greatest victory for truth ever won in this part county. Bro. Nichol showed himself master of the occasion in both negative and affirmative and in Christian deportment in ever speech. Clark showed his defeat throughout the debate. Among the large crowds that assembled day by day eager for even standing room to hear Nichol ands see his display of truth on the blackboard, were visiting brethren from Memphis, Cincinnati, Paris, Paducah, Jackson and other towns. One dozen gospel preachers were there. We had preaching every night from Coleman Overby, Allen Phy and W.T. Hinds.
