Bro. Porter met Vernon L. Barr in debate at Pensacola, Fl., Feb. 19-24.
700-1000 attended and over 40 gospel preachers.
Brother Porter did his customary excellent work. In spite of artful dodging, Mr. Barr suffered along with his false positions. Churches of Christ were well pleased with bro. Porter's defense of the truth. A young Christian who had joined the Baptists told bro, Porter that she was hanging her head in shame. When asked what she going to do about it, she said she was never going to the Baptist church again.
