This debate held at Blue Springs church, near Forth Henry, Tenn. on Jan. 20-22.
Mr. Neal affirmed: Impossibility of apostasy. Bro. Record affirmed: Baptism to be one of the conditions of salvation from past sins. The best of spirits prevailed throughout the debate. Mr. Neal had the advantage in experience and tact, yet it was interesting to note how busy he was kept, and how hard he labored. Bro. Record is to be commended for his work. In spite of mud, rain and ice, the debate was well attended. I kept time for bro. Record. Much good is expected as a result of this debate.
