At Charlie, Texas, March 12-15.
Four propositions. Estab. of the church; total depravity; design of baptism; apostasy. Large crowds came. There was a wonderful contrast of the character of the disputants manifested in their deportment. Bro. Skaggs refused to deal in levity and it had a tendency to draw his opponent from that course toward the last. All were impressed with bro. Skaggs' earnestness. I am sure that good was done.
