Debate took place at the Fairview church in Pascal, Ky., April 28 for five days.
Tallman aff: "The scriptures teach that immersion is for, in order to, the remission of sins." Hauk aff: "The scriptures teach that baptism of the Holy Spirit is for the remission of sins." Bro. Tallman thoroughly proved his position. There was not an argument brought by Hauk that failed to be overthrown. In fact Hauk was so defeated that he refused to debate the last day. The Methodists were bewildered.
