The usual church questions were discussed, each affirmed for two days. Bro. Tant made some of the strongest arguments that could be made. Cayce put in his time in ridicule and sophistry. He relied much more on history than on the Bible. He seemed to be entirely satisfied with believing what the Waldensians believed; whether their belief was in harmony with the Bible made no difference. Bro. Tant exposed Primitive Baptist doctrine every time he came on the floor. If Cayce is the strongest they have, surely strength with them is an abject. "The truth is mighty and will prevail."
