I just closed a ten-day debate in DeQueen, Ark., with A. Y. Baker of the Joe Smith branch of the Mormon church. We had fine attendance, sometime as high as 100 Mormons being present. From DeQueen I went to Memphis to meet Ben Bogard in debate. The debate was largely attended. All my brethren seemed happy over the defense of the truth. I find Bogard much weaker in argument than he was in bygone years; but he holds his reputation quite well in misrepresenting the church of Christ in all things and not preaching the truth on any thing.
I'm to meet T. S. Bolin (Baptist) and Madisonville, Tenn. on August 2nd. Then C. A. Smith (Baptist) at Huntsville, Ark. 29th.
