This debate was held at Tuggle School House and Manchester, Tx.
Bro. H.L. Taylor represented the church of Christ and J.W. Brewer represented the Missionary Baptist. Eight subjects were discussed ; two sessions each day, four days at each place. What bro. Taylor did in this debate was plenty. He gained a great victory for the truth. Mr. Brewer is good when it comes to dodging the scriptures, but bro. Taylor showed him up on these points. Any congregation needing a representative man will make no mistake in calling for bro. Taylor.
