W. M. Thompson has just closed a debate with L.L. Pickett (Methodist) of Kentucky. The debate was held at Stuart.
The church is rejoicing over another victory. No mud-slinging in this debate. I moderated for bro. Thompson and followed the debate with a week's meeting. Five were baptized and two restored. One man 78 years old was baptized - the debate helped him see the truth.
