Jose Rodriguez - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together

Esepepe_21@yahoo.com - What does it take to forsake the assembly of ourselves? Is answer a number, an attitude, both?

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Heb 10:25

Does this Verse apply to local church services? Is this only talking about Sunday Morning services? Just the Lord supper? Could this apply to Gospel Meeting? Can person remove his fellowship from a local body of Christ by not attending? Please respond with Biblical support.

Yes use scripture to instruct.

Lee - Re: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves toge

t.lee.buck@gmail.com - Brother
My thinking is not so important regarding this matter. That being said, the scriptures are not silent regarding this matter.

Not I, but the scriptures say,"We must also consider how to encourage each other to show love and to do good things. We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.
Heb 10:24-25 (GW)

Brothers and sisters, we can''t allow ourselves to get tired of doing what is right. 2 Thess 3:13 (GW)
