Jim Wright was a member of the Creekview congregation for about forty years and served almost ten years as an elder.  We are grieved for his loss, but we rejoice for his gain.

Jimmy "Jim" Wright, age 67 of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  Memorial Service will be Monday, October 2nd at 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. Stacey Durham officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, October 2nd from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m.

Mr. Wright was born July 27, 1950 in Trousdale County, to the late Douglas Wright and Lucille Cato Wright.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Robert Wright.  He is survived by wife of 42 years, Cathy Wright of Gallatin; sons, Shayne Wright of Brentwood and Seth Wright (Amanda) of Nashville; daughter, Leah Wright of Gallatin; brother, Wayne Wright (Beverly) of Willspoint, TX; sister, Evelyn Ferrell of Nashville; sister,-in-law, Jane Christian of Castalian Springs; and grandchild, Parker Jane Wright.  Mr. Wright was an elder at Creekview Church of Christ.
