Is God real? Most people in the world today believe that there is a Creator, who made all things and sustains life as we know it. God made Himself known to man shortly after He created him. This information comes from the Bible, which we believe is the inspired word of God. On the 6th day of creation, God made man. Gen 1:27-28 tells us that "...God created man in His own image...male and female He created them."

Then God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it..." Since God is infinite and man is finite, God wanted man to know Who He is and that He is our Creator. Today, this requires faith on our part and belief that the Bible is true.

How can we know if God is real besides what is written in the Bible? Where is the external evidence? All around us! God has left his "fingerprint" everywhere we turn. We can look at the world and the way it is constructed, the laws of nature that govern it and God's "handiwork" in the variety of plants and animals. These are the marks of an intelligent designer. William Paley suggested that if you were walking through a field and found a watch on the ground that you would recognize it as a piece of machinery that had purpose and did not simply grow in the forest like plants and trees. You would conclude that someone built it. Marks of Intelligent Design suggest that the Earth has purpose, design and intent. God is that designer. He made man, placed Him upon the earth and "breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." (Gen 2:7)

�For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and deity; that they may be without excuse.� (Rom 1:20)
