Kingdom of God-Restoring Israel

Kingdom of God

How many believe that Israel is going to be restored, in the physical sense, to be God's elect with a physical king to reign? 1000 year reign?

[Heb 9:11-12 KJV] 11 But Christ being come a high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].

[Isa 9:6-7 NKJV] 6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of [His] government and peace [There will be] no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Jesus has established a kingdom that is forever, not made with physical hands of this world, but by the hands of God through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ the Lord. From the seed of Abraham of the throne of David, Jesus reigns forever sitting at the right hand of God.

We better be careful to not put an emphasis upon restoring the nation of Israel to power in the Middle East as though God's people will rule a physical throne again. By doing so we are saying that God failed to fulfill His promise with Jesus and will have to try again. Too many people believe that Israel as a nation needs to be protected because they are God's chosen people still. They fail to see that the physical nation of Israel has been done away with.

We are part of that everlasting kingdom if we have obeyed God by being obedient to the Gospel of Jesus Christ the Lord. We must submit ourselves to Christ as Lord by being baptized into His death, that we might also arise to the newness of life through His resurrection. Romans 6:3-6. God then adding us to the church, His kingdom, by God Himself. Acts 2:47; 1 Cor 3:7; Col 1:13. [Eph 5:25-27 KJV] 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
