How Many Churches did Christ Build?

This is a very important question to consider, because there are over three thousand churches in this world today. Jesus said that he would build his church in Matt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  The use of the singular personal pronoun “my” excludes the plurality of churches. Many denominations today say that they are a “part” of Christ’s church. But are the denominations today what Jesus had in mind when He promised to build his church. This could not be the case because Paul wrote that we all should be united concerning of salvation. I Cor 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. The bible says that the body of Christ is the church! Eph 1:22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. The church is the body and the body is the church, the body of Christ and the church that Christ established are synonymous. The bible gives us more information on the subject concerning the number of churches. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. There is one body meaning that there is only one church. Therefore we must ask the question, how many churches were there when the church was established on Pentecost? There was only one, and all other churches established after this was by man and not God. The bible says that Christ is the saviour of the His body. Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Furthermore the bible says that there is only one faith (that is the system of faith). Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. The bible tells us that we must be perfectly joined together when it come to salvation. The bible says that the church is the body, and that Christ is the saviour of the body. The bible says that there is only one system of faith. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that there is only one church. So which c
