We make choices on a daily basis, such as what to wear or what we will eat. We make choices that have a great impact on our future, such as who we will marry or what kind of retirement plan is best for us.

We make choices when it comes to the end of this life, such as where we will be buried and what our funerals should be like. Some dealing with terminal illnesses, are able to make decisions on how they want their lives to end.

There are also decisions that we make regarding our eternity, decisions of action or inaction. We have been given an invitation to be with Christ and His Father following judgment, but we make a decision on whether to accept or to decline.

Jesus has said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, NKJV). All have received the invitation, but not all will choose to accept it.

What will you do with the Lord's invitation? Will your eternity be with God and His Son? Are you willing to live your life as a sacrifice to Him (Romans 12:1-2)? Ultimately, the decision is yours to make. What will you choose?
