I.          THE NAMES OF THE CHURCH:

      A. The name of the church and her members was prophesized -- Isa.62:1-2.

      B. The name of the Church is from God -- Eph.1:19-21.

      C. Jesus calls His church by name -- Jn.10:2-3.

      D. Therefore religious names must come from the will of Christ which is the New Testament -- Heb.9:15-17.

      E. Jesus called the "my church" -- Matt.16:18.

      F.  The names of the church from the Apostles:

          3.     Disciples -- Acts 14:22.

          4.     Members -- I Cor.12:12

          5.     Brethren -- I Cor.1:10-11.
